An emaillist is used to facilitatediscussion. After peer review,the material becomes part of anonline course hypertext. Theprocess encourages students todevelop their understanding ofquality criteria and gives themthe satisfaction of knowingtheir work is seen andappreciated by a wide audience.It shifts the emphasis of acourse from teaching tocooperative learning. Thehypertext also becomes avaluable resource available toreaders all over the world.
