Combining Qualitative and Quantitative Techniques to Develop Culturally Sensitive Measures

The purpose of this chapter is to propose and illustrate a strategy designed to develop valid, reliable, and culturally sensitive measures of risk perceptions, social support, and coping strategies as applied to HIV/AIDS behavior and mental health issues for special populations.
