Organic and hybrid photoelectroactive polymer for memories and neuromorphic computing

Abstract This chapter mainly introduces organic hybrid polymer materials for the optoelectronic resistive switching memory and neuromorphic computing. It starts by presenting the categories and working mechanisms of organic optoelectronic materials. And then, the research and application of these related polymer systems on optoelectronic memory device are introduced, including resistive random access memory, optical organic field-effect transistors memory, and optoelectronic logic gates. The light-tunable artificial synapses and several optical integrated devices based on these hybrid polymer optoelectronic materials are elaborated in the final section of this chapter.
