Describes the theory and design principle. By making use of the regenerative characteristics of p-n-p-n devices, a binary full adder circuit is designed. A computer-aided circuit analysis program is used to calculate circuit equations and to choose the external elements. The calculated response of the circuit agree with the experimental results.
