Analytic Research of Air Heat Transfer Performance in Dam Tunnel Ventilation

With the flying development of our country's hydropower project,all kinds of hydropower plants have been constructed. However,hydropower plants ventilation is becoming an difficult problem to hydropower facilities development. Under the background of JingHong hydropower plants in Yunnan province, this article utilized mathematic method to obtain the mathematical expressions of heat transfer characteristic when the air flowing through dam tunnel,and the MATLAB was proposed to calculate approximate solution of all kinds of cases. Then the influencing effect of some factors,such as outdoor air temperature,airflow velocity,tunnel length were analysed,and a general conclusion of air physical properties' variation was obtained. The results indicated that the dam tunnel itself has a good effect on air cooling and heating,it is important for energy saving,improving ventilation in hydropower plants and increasing power generation efficiency.
