Research of the System for Electrical Impedance Tomography Based on Physical Phantom

Electrical impedance tomography(EIT) is a new method of medical imaging, It has caused lots of interest for its advantages such as non-invasive, no harm, economic, function imaging and clinical image monitoring. EIT technique includes static imaging and dynamic imaging. We have designed an electrical impedance tomography system. This system is composed of a hardware system and a software system. The hardware system is composed of 32 electrodes, a physical phantom, constant current source, hidh accuracy measurment block, driving-mode and measuring-mode setting block, data acquisition block and computer. We mainly focused our research on the reconstruction model and algorithm: completed the Equal Potential Back Projection algorithm in dynamic EIT and proposed a serial new reconstruction algorithms named General Inversion algorithm. We implemented them in computer simulation study and phantom imaging, a better results have been obtained.
