Acoustic Feature Extraction and Identification for Jet Aircraft

This paper analyses acoustic signals of a jet aircrafts in timefrequency domain, and processes the signals by means of LMS adaptive filter. To meet the acoustic feature extraction and Identification for Jet aircraft, wavelet transform and Zerocrossing rate are adopted, The feasibility of applying these methods to the identification of jet aircraft taxiing on runway is proven, and that the BP neural network is employed to the classify and identification are presented.
