The research of a mid-frequency heating power supply based on IGBT

Medium-frequency power supply has been widely used in industrial heating.The structure and working principle of the main circurt in a novel intermediate frequency induction heating supply are discussed according to practice.This power supply makes use of the frequency changeable technique,and series resonant inverter circuit has been made up by full controlled device.It resolves the low efficiency and wasting power in the work-frequency heating.This method has the advantages of wide area of power modulation and little change of frequency,it adapts to medium power supply system.
