Design and Realization of General Purpose Movement Actuator

In this paper we present our universal drive and its possibilities of using in industry 4. The design of hardware parts of the driver was focused on the versatility of mounting and use of the drive. Using 3D printing, a prototype of the designed drive was constructed. The main part of the drive is a stepper motor which meets the conditions for the implementation of the system. The drive is controlled by a programmed microcontroller in combination of driver for the stepper motor. In order to control microcontroller a desktop application has been developed. The last part of research was to find suitable configurations of the proposed drive for industry. The result is the design of various robotic system architectures.
