With the application and promotion of under-balanced drilling technology, on-site drilling personnel training become even more important. The research on physical under-balanced drilling simulator was carried out for imitating under-balanced drilling indoors. The under-balanced drilling simulator can be used for the design, calculation and simulation operation. This paper introduced the main mathematical models, such as specialized mathematical model,executive component acting effect model and operational process model which were used in the under-balanced drilling simulator. The above models not only made up the core content of the simulator, but also play a core part in controlling the simulator. With under-balanced drilling promoted and expanded continually, increasing part of the equipment and functions of under-balanced drilling simulator can achieve multiple under-balanced drilling training and operation simulation.
