Optimising the performance of indoor wireless communication systems

The optimisation of the deployment of wireless indoor communication systems is a complex problem. This paper identifies promising optimisation techniques by considering a simplified building environment, propagation model and cost function. Quantisation effects inherent in system modelling are identified as significant.
