A NEW STEP-SIZE SKILL FOR SOLVING A CLASS OF NONLINEAR PROJECTION EQUATIONS

In this paper, a new step-size skill for a projection and contraction method [lo] for linear progranirriing is gcrieralized to an iterat,ive method [22 ] for solving nonlinear projection ecluat,ion. For linear programming, our schcme is the sarne to that of [ lCI ] . For complerrientarity problern and related problems, we give an improved algorithm by considering the new step-size skill and ALGORITHM B disc11ssc:d in [ 22 ] . Nurnerical results arc! provided.
