In this paper, an exponential smoothing algorithm is proposed to predict the trend of network security. This method uses exponential smoothing algorithm to predict the amount of network attacks and uses Python language to realize the exponential smoothing algorithm model, and obtains the optimal smoothing index value by calculating the standard deviation. The experimental results show that the exponential smoothing algorithm can predict the amount of network attacks in a period of time, the trend of network security changes is basically consistent with the actual data, the deviation of the predicted value is small, and the trend of network security changes can be better reflected.
