Intramedullary Metastasis of Breast Carcinoma

Intramedullary spinal cord metastasis is the rarest type of central nervous system involvement from breast cancer. Only a few cases have been reported in the literature. Most commonly, it is a late manifestation of the disease and survival after the diagnosis of intramedullary metastasis is unfortunately not good.
