Successful treatment of a bifurcation lesion with the Carina Bard stent: A case report

In the last years new techniques and user‐friendly stents have improved the results of stent implantation in coronary bifurcational lesions but difficulties in stent deployment and incomplete coverage of the bifurcation remain a problem. We describe the case of a proximal lesion of the anterior descending artery involving a large diagonal branch treated with the Carina Bard bifurcate stent, a new device that allows the complete immediate coverage of a bifurcational lesion with a single stent.
