Control system for bearing edge-roller

Aiming at realizing the precise control of bearing edge-roller,using the microprocessor dsPIC30F401 with quadrature encoder interface(QEI),the hardware was developed for control system of bearing edge-roller.Grating scale with resolution of 4 μm was adopted as displacement sensor,and traditional incremental PID control algorithm was adopted to realize positiong control of the pressure head.The experimental results show that the control system works steadily,and it has high precision which could meet the requirements of the bearing edge-roller.
