Multi-level discourse relations between dialogue units

In order to analyse what happens in dia- logue it is insufficient to consider the con- tent of its segments in isolation. In this paper we propose a meta-model for in- tegrating discourse relations into a stan- dard framework of dialogue act annotation (Bunt et al., 2010), considering in particu- lar the various dialogue units involved and the nature of their relations.
