Method and system for reifendruckueberwachung

To monitor tyre pressure, the vertical vibration behaviour of the individual vehicle wheels is measured (function block 5) and analysed. The natural frequencies and the vertical movements of the wheels are measured (function block 2). The spring rate (function block 2) is deduced from these natural frequencies and the tyre pressure (function block 3) is deduced from this characteristic value. The instantaneous tyre pressure is compared with the reference tyre pressure (function block 4). A warning signal is emitted if marked deviations occur (block 10).
