THE DYNAMICS OF MULTITASKING-MULTIPROCESSING COMPUTING

Abstract A matrix-based dynamic model for combining heterogeneous multitasking and multiprocessing has been obtained based on earlier work in multiprocessing for a demand actuated transportation system. The dynamic multitasking—multiprocessing model allows for prediction of performance characteristics of heterogeneous multiple instruction multiple data stream (MIMD) architectures.
