Image protection method based on binary operations

This paper presents the method of graphical data steganographic protection based on binary operations applied to both secret data bits and the most significant bits of a cover image in order to define values of the least significant bits to be embedded into the cover according to LSB-steganography approach. The method demonstrates an appropriate level of robustness against attacks. The secret data encoding procedure of the proposed method is presented and discussed. The probability of unauthorised access to the secret data is estimated. The modification of the proposed method according to the most probable attacks is suggested and discussed as well.
