Control System Design of Friction Test-bed based on the Microcontroller

Wear is an important index of performance of the friction. As the part——measure and control of MST-Ⅱ friction test-bed, the design of this system is based on the microcontroller-ATMEGA 168.In a test period, the microcontroller controls in file: clutch-touch, electric motor-start, clutch-separate, electric motor-stop, power-electro, power-broken, line and parameter-reveal and so on. Thereinto,the analog signals, exported by the pressure and the torque sensors, are sampled and calculated by the microcon-troller, thus the important calculating parameter of wear——the rub work will be got, and microcontroller controls the colorful touch-ing LCD to manifest the experiment parameter and draw the line graph of pressure-time and torque-time in each touch period.
