Manipulating the oxygen reduction activity of platinum shells with shape-controlled palladium nanocrystal cores.

The oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) activities of Pt shells were found to have a strong dependence on the surface structure by depositing them on Pd nanocrystals with different shapes.
