A novel interleaved LLC resonant converter

This paper presents dual LLC converters in parallel connection. Nevertheless, proposed converter efficiently integrated two LLC resonant tanks, it successfully reduce the current stress of components and increase step-down conversion ratio with higher power density and less component number than conventional dual LLC converters. All active switches are turned on at ZVS and rectifier diodes are turned off at ZCS with wide load conditions. The operating principle and steady-state analysis are proposed. To verify the analysis, a laboratory prototype interleaved LLC resonant converter with input voltage of 400 V and output 24 V/500 W is implemented. The maximum efficiency of the proposed converter is 92.1%.
