Impact of model accuracy in design by optimization process

This paper investigates the effect of model inaccuracies on the results of a design by optimization process applied to a SiC switching cell. The technologies used for this DC-DC converter and the requirements are briefly described, as well as the design by optimization process. Then, a sensitivity study is carried out to investigate the most influent models regarding the final design. This allows determining where to put the modeling efforts.
