A small size broadband antenna used in VHF/UHF band

The planar monopole antenna is shown to provide extremely wideband impedance characteristics. This letter proposed a novel small size planar monopole antenna with vertical polarization and omni-directional features, operating from 110 MHz to 430 MHz. By introducing lump elements loading and two parasitic elements, broadband impedance is achieved. The electrically length of this antenna is only 0.11 lambdamin.
