Safety evaluation of a black spot treatment programme in Flanders

An important aspect of traffic safety policy for many countries is the treatment of black spots. While many resources are invested, the effects of these investments are often unknown. The traffic safety impact of the black spot program in Flanders is evaluated in the study presented here, where a before- and after evaluation of accident numbers was used as measurement.
