RISK MULTILINGUAL, A COMPLETE SOFTWARE TO CALCULATE THE LIGHTNING RISK FOR STRUCTURES

The new IEC 62305-2 standard treats the risk management of the protection against lightning. The SIRAC (IEC Risk Assessment Calculator) software, proposed in annex J, is a too simple and limited tool. A need of a complete software lead us to design a complete and comprehensive RISK Multilingual software which shows, on a single screen, values of the 68 parameters, all risk components and their relative importance, allowing the user to visualize the whole results by shifting from one zone to another (among 10 zones per structure). From an Excel spreadsheet, the sum of risk components is compared to the tolerable risk and measures of protection can immediately be taken.
