KAYSERİ-KARPUZSEKİSİ HAVZASINDA YAŞAYAN İNSANLARDA FASCİOLA HEPATİCA PREVALANSI

Fasciola hepatica, esas olarak koyun, keci ve sigirlari enfekte eden; karacigerde safra yollarina yerleserek fascioliosise neden olan bir trematoddur. Insanlar, F.hepatica icin tesadufi konaktirlar. Insan, kontamine sular veya parazitin metaserker formunun bulundugu su bitkilerini cig olarak tuketerek enfekte olur. Fascioliosis ciftlik hayvanlari, insan ve salyangozlarla yakin iliskili kozmopolit bir hastaliktir. Turkiye, F.hepatica icin endemik ulkelerden biridir ve Kayseri-Karpuzsekisi bolgesi parazitin yasamasi ve cogalmasi icin uygun biyo-ekolojik ozellikleri tasimaktadir. Bu calismada, Kayseri ili Karpuzsekisi bolgesinde yasayanlardan alinan serum orneklerinde anti-Fasciola hepatica antikorlari arastirilmistir. Bu amacla; Hanyeri (n=48), Sari Kurklu (n=68), Dokuzpinar (n=62) ve Karpuzsekisi’nden (n=196) toplam 374 kiside IHA ve ELISA yontemleriyle anti-Fasciola hepatica antikorlari arastirilmistir. Ayrica bu kisilerden alinan diski ornekleri Nativ-Lugol ve sedimantasyon yontemleriyle incelenmistir. Dusuk dilusyonlarda seropozitiflik saptanan 13 (% 3,48) kisiden alinan diski orneklerinin hic birinde F.hepatica yumurtasina rastlanmamistir. Seropozitiflik saptanan kisiler radyolojik acidan da degerlendirilmis ancak patolojik bir durum gorulmemistir. Elde edilen sonuclar ve diger calismalarin sonuclari degerlendirildiginde; bir bolgede yasayan insanlarda F.hepatica yayginliginin bolgenin sulak yapisi ile iliskili oldugu dusunulmustur
