Study on seismic performance of composite wall of cold-formed steel structure residential building

In order to study the seismic performance of composite wall of cold-formed structure residential building, four composite walls were tested with vertical and horizontal cyclic loading. The seismic bearing capacity, the displacement ductility factor and the seismic energy coefficient were obtained.Test results show that in the conditions of meeting the carrying capacity, the size of the combination wall frame section has no effect on the seismic bearing capacity of the wall, but the ductility factor and energy coefficient are improved. The seismic bearing capacity of combination wall with both sides is twice as much as that of the composite wall with single side, and the ductility factor and seismic energy coefficient of the former increased greatly.
