Outage probability of multi-source multi-relay wireless networks with co-channel interference

In this paper we analyze the effect of co-channel interference on multi-source multi-relay wireless networks under Rayleigh interference-limited fading channels. A joint source-relay-selection scheme, which selects the best source-relay pair to access the channel, is proposed. We derive the outage probability of the joint source-relay-selection scheme without/with direct links, from which the significance of the direct links is recognized. Finally, Monte Carlo simulation results verify our theoretical analysis.
