Multimedia routing server for in-home services - requirements and referential architecture

We discuss a multimedia routing server for in-home services. First, we give an overview of electronic home appliances in a typical home networking environment Then we analyze four use-case scenarios to understand how multimedia content is used at home. Based on these scenarios, we present the requirements for a multimedia routing server. Finally, we propose a referential architecture for the multimedia routing server.
