EXPERIMENTELLE BESTIMMUNG DES DYNAMISCHEN VERHALTENS EINER KREISELPUMPE BEIM AUSLAUFEN

The primary condition of transporting liquids in pipelines is the installation of a properly matched pump. The calculations of operation parameters in both steady-state and transient flow conditions require the mathematical model of the pump. The currently used model is based on the well-known steady-state equations and characteristics of the pump [1], [2]. Both experimental results and theoretical considerations suggest that this model is inaccurate under transient flow conditions and requires further development. The first step of creating a more accurate mathematical model is to make experiments to find out how the characteristics of the pump change under transient flow conditions. The research was conducted within the framework of OTKA T029073 R& D scheme.
