On stabilization of the CBS algorithm: Internal and external time steps

The use of stabilization techniques for incompressibility and convective acceleration is currently an active area of research in the finite element analysis. A related issue on the topic of stabilization is addressed in this paper. The procedure discussed here is demonstrated using the CBS algorithm for Stokes flow in a lid-driven cavity.
