영상분석 활용효과 탐색을 위한 심층면담 사례연구

The purpose of this study is to explore the training outcome of IAAF World Championship Daegu 2011 relay team in Male Athletics with application of video analysis. A shooting method was made the leading runner’s position in the baton-touch section, the later runner’s start timing, and the arm position & the hand movement given touching, respectively, with the major focus by using 2cameras. The shot image after performing was immediately shown on the training field. Director and coach’ verbal description and visual feedback were mixed. Also, at a squad meeting after being finished training, all of team members gathered and discussed with watching after editing the training image. Materials were collected through the participatory observation and the in-depth interview in order to examine its effect of the training period by adopting Video analysis. First, a change in communication. What monitors the image right away after performing could be confirmed the effects on removing the conflict elements, which may occur in feedback, opinion reconciliation, and reliable relationship between athletes and between athlete and coach and on improving teamwork and atmosphere, and further athletic performance. Second, the limitation of squad meeting, which is progressed only with memory of athletes and coach without image was overcome through analyzing image. The positive effect on athletes’ participation level, atmosphere and immersion could be confirmed. Third, there was a little difference by individual in camera angle of being desired by athletes. However, to see armㆍknee movement and angle, baton touch, and start point, the lateral angle was mostly preferred. To confirm own speed and balance in the upperㆍlower body, the front angle was preferred.
