Millimeterwave band-pass filters design with technological constraints

In this paper the design of a set of band-pass microstrip filters for a millimeterwave transceiver on the 60GHz band is presented. Technological constraints are included on the first step of the design for an easy circuit implementation. To study the validity of the models included on commercial software, the comparison between experimental and computed results with different simulators, including an in-house software program for filters synthesis and analysis, will be presented. The experimental results will demonstrate the optimum filters performances and the best tools for 30 and 60GHz frequency band.
