Agent-Based Computational Sociology

There is of course already a considerable literature on such ‘agent-based modelling’. There is for example a Journal of Artificial Societies and Social Simulation, edited from the Sociology Department at Surrey. Most of the content pays little attention however to empirical enquiry and to the linkages between mainstream methods of sociological enquiry and computational methods. This is Squazzoni’s concern.
