Simulation of Ventilation Mode in Case of Subway Platform Fire

Numerical simulation of a typical subway station of different ignition source is performed using Fire Dynamics Simulator in this paper.Based on the quantitative predicted results,the thermal radiation,CO concentration,temperature,visibility,smoke layer height were analyzed in two fire scenarios.In view of the present "Code for metro design",the optimal ventilations for the two fire scenarios were proposed which are of significance to performance-based design and improvement of the emergency treatment capabilities of subway systems.
