On polyanalytic functions

Polyanalytic functions of a complex variable (a class which is one of the most important natural generalizations of that of analytic functions) have been the subject of a considerable number of papers in recent years. The present paper is a fairly complete survey of results obtained so far in this branch of complex analysis.
