CONTROL OF A UTILITY INTERACTIVE SYSTEM BY INDUCTION MACHINES FOR SUPPLYING THE DESIRED MECHANICAL POWER FROM A PHOTOVOLTAIC ARRAY

Solar energy is more attractive and acceptable as one of clean power sources However, the electric power generated from a photovoltaic array(PVA) largely depends on weather conditions. Therefore a constant mechanical power can not be obtained from one motor which is driven on the basis of the electric power from a PVA In order to generate the desired mechanical power from a PVA, the authors have proposed the parallel operation system using two induction machines The stability in a steady state of the system is discussed in this paper.
