The digital chip comprises a little-endian big-endian mode input pin, an interface module, a processor configuration module and a peripheral configuration module, the interface module receives little-endian big-endian mode configuration signals through the little-endian big-endian mode input pin, the processor configuration module receives the little-endian big-endian mode configuration signals transmitted by the interface module, processes data signals needing to be input into a processor to acquire a first data signal, conforming to an instruction of little-endian big-endian mode configuration signals, of the little-endian big-endian mode and transmits the first data signal to the processor; the peripheral configuration module receives the little-endian big-endian mode configuration signals transmitted by the interface module and transmits the data signals needing to be input into a periphery to the periphery when the little-endian big-endian mode instructed by the little-endian big-endian mode configuration signals is identical with a peripheral little-endian big-endian mode, otherwise processes the data signals needing to be input into the periphery to acquire a second data signal conforming to the peripheral little-endian big-endian mode, and transmits the second data signal to the periphery. Therefore, compatibility of the digital chip is improved.
