A novel optical fast OFDM with reduced channel spacing equal to half of the symbol rate per carrier

We propose a novel discrete-cosine-transform based optical fast OFDM (FOFDM) to reduce the channel spacing to half of the symbol rate per carrier, and numerically evaluate the performance of 20Gbaud PSK and bipolar 4-ASK FOFDM.
