Studies on the Building Factor of Transformers Based on laminated Core Models

Two transformer-based laminated core models, which have the same material and joint type but different leg length are proposed and prototyped for determining the magnetic properties of GO electrical steel. An efficient weighted method is proposed to calculate the electromagnetic of the silicon steel considering the joined area. The modified calculating method of building factor of the model can be obtained. The experimental results have an important reference value for further investigation transformer core performance.
