An interactive and dynamic missile-borne SAR simulation software system based on HLA

Simulation software plays an important role in the design and development of the missile-borne SAR system. In this paper, we present an interactive and dynamic simulation software system for missile-borne SAR. Based on high level architecture (HLA), which emphasizes on the interoperability and reusability of different simulation federations, the software system is designed to combine dynamic visualization simulation with missile trajectory simulation, target backscattering, fast echo simulation based on GPU, deceptive jamming simulation, parallel imaging simulation and the quality evaluation for missile-borne SAR. The software system can be not only used for the testing and evaluating the real equipment or the hardware-in-the-loop simulator, but also be able to extend to more complex and multifunctional simulation. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate the validity and dynamic visualization of software system.
