Planar Antennas for Quasi-Zenith Satellite System Nicknamed MICHIBIKI

Planar antennas for the quasi-zenith satellite system (QZSS) nicknamed MICHIBIKI are proposed and examined. These are composed of two antennas because the frequency band for the system is very wide. From the characteristics of the return loss, the radiation pattern, and the isolation loss, we show that these paired antennas have excellent characteristics for QZSS.
