As all the different discourse types are applied in advertisement writing,the inter-textual features in the advertising discourse are so obvious.This paper describes and analyses inter-textual phenomena in advertisements English with some examples,focusing on the two forms of inter-textuality: specific inter-textuality and generic inter-textuality in advertisements.By means of the inter-textuality,the advertisement can fully complete its functions of attracting the audience and achieving its goals.
