Investigation of mechanism of flexible workflow based on Agent

In complex and diversified application context, flexibility and scalability are one of the key issues of workflow technology. Using methodology of meta-object to define workflow process, by importing multi-Agent of technology to workflow management system, how to fulfill the integration of distributed workflow system is described. Furthermore, the character of intelligence and collaboration of Agent also can bring workflow system more flexibility. Finally, as a result of methodology above, an architecture based on multi-Agents of workflow management system is given to show how Multi-Agent work together, a typical example is shown on a general mobile Agent platform named Aglet to discuss the key technology of mechanism of flexibility workflow based on Agent.
