THE USE OF COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES INBLENDED TEACHING

The article reports the experience of blended teaching in a course of business administration graduation in a university of the south of Brazil. The article presents the form that the course was planned in terms of use of technologies, identifies the blended modality student profile and presents the evaluation data of the course in this mode. The data was obtained through documentary research and questionnaires and analyzed by descriptive statistic. The results show that the students have the necessary requirements to study in a blended course, as they have computers at home with access to the high speed Internet and use easily the technological resources offered by the virtual learning environment. The students demonstrate technology domain and use the Internet to be updated. The resources mainly used and accepted by the students are: material posting, the forum and the Quiz. The experience with the course shows advancements in relation to teaching technology application.
