Dyna-METRIC Version 5: A Capability Assessment Model Including Constrained Repair and Management Adaptations

Abstract : Dyna-METRIC Version 5 is a capability assessment model that relates logistics resources and policies to wartime readiness. This report, intended, for users of the Version 5 Dyna-METRIC model, describes the model's motivation, capabilities, use, and methodology. Version 5 was developed to more accurately represent the uncertainty in demand and repair, especially queueing and unanticipated demands. It is expressly suited to analysis of the effect of constraints on resources in the context aircraft components and to evaluation of ways to overcome these constraints.
