Study of Video Real-time Transmission

Because of the rapid network development,the traditional TCP/IP protocol is faced with great challenge in the real time stream transmission.Because TCP/IP protocol supports no-real time data trans-mission and it's policy of re-sending and congestion control has brought much difficulty to the real time transmission.To solve this problem,RTP protocol,which supports real time transmission,is brought for-ward.In this paper,the basic principle of RTP/RTCP is discussed,and the application of video transmis-sion is realized.A strategy of relevant congestion control is put forward,which turns out to be very effec-tive in the100M local network.
