Node energy reporting mechanism of WSNs based on information entropy

Condition monitoring of wireless sensor networks plays a crucial role to prolong the network life,and residual energy of node is key monitoring attribute.Cluster header node collect the residual energy data of its members node based on cluster style network topology structure.After processing those data by the information entropy theory,energy data will be sent to monitor platform with short message format.Experimental results show that the report mechanism can effectively reduce reporting data traffic,also can basically guarantee precision of reporting data.
